The short answer is no. Casual workers are not entitled to paid annual leave or ‘holiday pay’, or the other benefits that permanent employees receive.
However, casual construction workers are paid more to account for this.
Under the national award Casual Construction Workers earn an additional 25% per hour to compensate for not having holiday pay, paid sick leave etc.
Casual construction workers are eligible for Superannuation though.
